Glad we squeezed your interest
Guess what else accordions, juice bars and mammograms have in common? Healthy living!
Think about it. Accordion music makes you want to dance a polka, and dancing is a fun form of exercise. Juice bars serve juice, which has tons of nutrients. Mammograms help keep your breasts healthy.
Why 40? Establishing your baseline, or your “normal,” at 40, and then returning every year, helps your doctor see changes in your breasts. Regular mammograms can also detect cancer early, when it’s most treatable.
No excuses
We know most women dread their first, or baseline, mammogram. We get it, and we’ve heard all the excuses. Here are a few of our favorites.
It’s going to hurt. We are the first to admit that a mammogram can be uncomfortable. Our trained techs make your experience as comfortable as possible while getting the images they need. Which brings us to …
The thought of a stranger touching my breasts makes me uncomfortable. Our techs aren't thinking about your breasts. They’re thinking about how to get the best images possible so you and your doctor know exactly what’s going on.
I don’t have time. From check in to check out, our staff has the mammogram process down to a science. Most women are out the door in 30 minutes.
I’m scared. We know. Bring a friend. Better yet, schedule matching mammograms. Life is always better with a buddy.
The bottom line? None of these excuses are good enough to skip out.
