Sleep Medicine Specialists
Breathing problems during sleep can leave you feeling exhausted. Our board-certified sleep medicine specialists diagnose and treat sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, so you can rest more comfortably.

Your Appointment
Let’s make the most of your visit. Before your first appointment, please ask your referring physician to send us your medical records. Try to arrive 30 minutes before your first appointment so we can take care of your paperwork. For follow-up visits, 15 minutes early is plenty of time.
What to Bring to Your Appointment
Having the right information on hand helps us give you the best care. Please bring the following to each visit:
- A current, complete list of your medications
- Any copay or co-insurance amounts
- Your insurance card
Billing & Insurance
We know billing and insurance can feel overwhelming, so we do our best to make it clear and manageable. Read our financial policy to learn about:

Prescription Refills
There are a few ways you can request a prescription refill:
- At your appointment - Tell your doctor if you’ll need a refill before your next visit.
- From the patient portal - Log in, go to My Medications and select Renew.
- Through your pharmacy or mail-order service - Call your pharmacy or mail-order service for refills, and they will contact us for approval.
To avoid running out, please request refills several days in advance. We respond during business hours, so planning ahead helps ensure you don’t miss a dose.
After-Hours Calls & Emergencies
If you need urgent medical care outside of business hours, call (816) 691-5098 to reach our on-call doctor. They can answer questions and guide you on the next steps. Please note that we don’t process medication refills on evenings or weekends.

Patient Registration & Forms
To save time at your visit, you can print and fill out any necessary forms ahead of time and bring them with you.
Parking
Park in the parking garage adjacent to the 2790 building on the NKC Health hospital campus. Valet parking is available at the 2790 entrance. Our office is on the 12th floor.
