Student volunteer form

This application is for students in high school (ages 16 and up) and college. Volunteer opportunities are in various departments in the hospital including Pain Management, Cardiac Rehab, Central Services, Children’s Learning Center, Emergency Room, Nursing Units, Print Shop, Pharmacy and other areas. Placement is based on availability, interest and age.

This is not a paid position. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application deadlines

Fall 2026 - Applications closed.

  • Information Night (Teams): Thursday, September 3, 5–6 p.m. A link will be sent to your email. Please check your spam folder. This is a required session for anyone who has not volunteered within the last 12 months
  • Orientation: Wednesday, September 9 or Thursday, September 10 (attend one), 4:30–6 p.m.
  • Vaccination deadline: Friday, September 18
  • Program: Week of September 28 through week of December 6
     

Spring 2027 - Application deadline: January 17, 2027

  • Information Night (Teams): Thursday, January 28, 2027, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
    • A Teams link will be sent to participants via email. Please check your spam folder. This session is required for anyone who has not volunteered within the last 12 months.
  • Orientation: Wednesday, February 3, 2027, or Tuesday, February 9, 2027 (attend one session), from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Vaccination deadline: Monday, February 15, 2027 (Presidents Day)
  • Program dates: Sunday, February 21, 2027, through Saturday, May 1, 2027

 

Summer 2027 - Application deadline: May 2, 2027

  • Information Night (Teams): Thursday, May 6, 2027, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

  • Orientation: Wednesday, May 12, 2027, or Thursday, May 13, 2027 (attend one session), from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Vaccination deadline: Monday, May 17, 2027
  • Program dates: Sunday, May 23, 2027, through Saturday, July 31, 2027
