We really love meritas pediatrics. My only concern is they don’t use the comfort promise that other children’s mercy affiliates do. I feel bad advocating to hold my daughter during vaccines and bring my own pain management tools. Pokes don’t have to hurt as bad for kids today so would like to see them use the tools like distraction, numbing creams, comfort positioning, and sucrose/breastfeeding. Feel like they are very open when you have an infant, but then uncomfortable when they grow into toddlers.

Dana is not who my children normally see, but our Dr was booked for the day so we saw Dana instead. I normally wouldn’t like to see someone else, but in my experience with this practice all of their doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, doctor’s assistants, etc. are all incredibly knowledgeable & caring. This experience didn’t waiver from my previous ones. Dana was so sweet to my baby girl, as was everyone who helped us during our visit. Each & every time I walk into this facility, the ladies at the front desk remember by kids names, treat us like family, & are just incredible people!! I used to dread taking my kids to the doctor, not anymore! Something that really needs attention from our visit is the fact that, like an idiot, I walked out of the house without my daughter’s bottle. She was getting very fussy towards the end of the appt because she was hungry. Let me tell you, not only the nurse that checked us in, but numerous nurses in the facility went on a mission to find us a bottle of my daughter’s formula!!!! We not only left there with the bottle of her formula, but a whole canister of powder formula AND a canister of the premixed liquid formula because she didn’t like the liquid formula we tried to give her the first time!!!! Above & beyond this facility’s staff will go to in order to help anyone!!!! My heart was full as my daughter & I left there yesterday, & I just can’t say enough wonderful things about this entire facility!!!!!!! I’m have 5 kids, & this is the best pediatric office we’ve ever had hands down!!!!!!!!!!! I wish so badly I knew the names of all the nurses who helped us yesterday, but sadly I do not. I just know that I have never met a nurse, or anyone working here, that I did not absolutely love!!!!!!
