Visit with Allyssa went well. Discussed current status and future weight loss goals. I appreciate her listening to me and giving reasons as to why some things work better than others. I was glad that someone canceled their appointment so that I could get in to see her quicker.

I am a local primary care physician who has referred many patients to the Total Weight Loss Center over the years. There are a lot of unique aftercare considerations for bariatric surgery. I feel confident knowing I can reach out to Allyssa regarding shared patients for guidance should a question arise related to their post op journey (even years after the procedure!) She did fine but the office staff didn’t. I had the understanding that I was meeting with a dietitian only to find out halfway through the appointment that she is a nurse practitioner. I had prepared for a visit with a dietitian. She basically answered my questions but still.

We met about my weight loss surgery and went through meds that I could discontinue taking. With this wt loss my blood sugars are improving. Very happy with results this far. Down 146 pounds and determined to stick with it.
