I selfishly hesitate to give my review of Dr. Jurgensmeier out of concern that his patient numbers will increase so much that it becomes more difficult to get appointments with him. However, I will say he is the best doctor I have had in my 70+ years. He listens carefully and spends all the time needed to understand my issue and thoroughly explain the diagnosis and treatment options. He is an excellent doctor.

I called in the early morning concerning a sore throat. I was able to get a 1030 appointment the same day with Dr Jurgensmeier. At arrival I was sent to lobby one with minimal delay. Dr. J made his observations as he went, diagnosed my cold, prescribed a nasal spray and addressed my concerns. I left feeling relieved that it was not Covid or the flu. 100% glad I came in.

Dr Jurgensmeier is one of the rare gems, as I hear so many complaints from friends about how their Drs are always in a hurry and do not care. My mom is at the end of her life and has been in ICU. Before my exam, Dr J even took the time to ask about my mom and expressed his care and concern for this difficult situation. He genuinely cares about his patients and takes his time to exam, explain, asks if we have any questions, and ultimately allows us to make the final decisions. Another quality I really appreciate about Dr Jurgensmeier is that anytime my husband or I have questions, and when we contact him through patient portal, he will come back with an answer usually the same day. I've seen him on many occasions that he would care enough to answer back after hours, even that evening. We feel so blessed to have one of the best and the most caring Healthcare providers around.

Dr. Jurgensmeier is what a primary care physician should be. He asks questions, and he answers questions. He makes appropriate referrals. When a prescription is needed, he orders it during the visit so I can pick it up on the way home. He follows up by posting a Patients Clinical Visit Summary as well as the lab report. More, he answers email when a communication is appropriate.

I went to Dr. Jurgensmeir for a few years. I finally stopped going because he constantly changed for a level 4 visit for my simple follow up appointments. This caused my insurance to charge me for specialty visits which cost a lot more. These visits were to adjust medication and did not include any kind of focused exams which is the justification to charging for level 4.

He did make me feel like I was being listened to during my 10 minute appointment, however everything after that has been exceptionally poor. He didn't complete the testing I needed, never called or sent my lab results, as I was told he would. When trying to work with his staff to get my questions answered I was simply told sorry, and to go somewhere else. So just save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else. They don't care.

I have been seeing Dr. J for over three years now, and he's my go to for most health issues. He has been helping treat and manage ongoing medical issues, as well as my occasional "my body hates me" meltdown. He is polite, listens to you and doesn't interrupt. He fully explains everything. Sometimes the wait times are a bit long, that is because he takes his time with his patients. Totally worth it when it's your turn. I think the most I ever had was 30 minutes past my scheduled time.
I judge a doctor on performance not personally.I was left with the same problem and he wanted me to come back after telling him the problem was still happening.if he was to milk his patients and not fix it leave me out.his motive is money only .very poor doctor just wants to milk his patients

I have been searching for a new doctor for quite awhile. Did my research and decided on Dr. Jugensmier. Went to see him on Wednesday and I was extremely impressed by his manner, questions he asked, and knowledge. Made me feel very comfortable. The next day at work I was telling a coworker about him and that I felt I like I finally talked to a real doctor. She said that it sounded like her doctor. I've seen dr Jurgensmeier ~ 4 times. He seems knowledgeable & concerned about me. My only disappointment is he's never listened to my heart & lungs, even after seeing him following a hospital stay. I could develop a heart or lung condition and go untreated for a long time. I'm glad he listens to me and any complaints I may have but would like him to start using his stethoscope as part of his assessment to check my heart and lungs. He needs to be doing this with all his patients.

After having 5 back surgeries I found myself to be in constant discomfort. All other doctors would prescribe pain medication which would only temporarily treat the pain. After my initial visit Dr. Jurgensmier took the time to sit and talk to me about my back and treatment options. He prescribed a couple of medications which were not narcotics and my back has never felt better and I feel 100% better being off pain medication. I would recommend him without any reservation.

I don't think I can recommend a doctor more than Dr. Jurgensmeier. He has been my PCP for a few years now, but up until recently, I never realized how amazing and lucky it is to have a doctor who cares.
