I enjoy staying active and engaged both personally and within my community. In my free time, I like traveling and exploring new places, which helps me gain new perspectives and recharge. I am an avid golfer and also spend time at the gym to maintain my physical health. At home, I enjoy working in my yard and taking pride in outdoor projects. I also value spending quality time with my wife, including attending Mexican dances and listening to Mexican music, which allows us to connect with culture and community.

Care Philosophy

I approach patient care with respect, kindness, and compassion. I believe every patient deserves to be heard, valued, and treated with dignity, especially during times when they may not be feeling their best. My goal is to create a supportive and understanding environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns.

With 27 years of military experience, I have developed a deep sense of commitment to serving others. This background has strengthened my dedication to advocating for my patients, particularly those who may not have a strong voice for themselves. I strive to provide thoughtful, patient-centered care that prioritizes both physical and emotional well-being. 

Areas of Interest

My clinical focus centers on urgent care, preventive health, and public health. I am passionate about providing timely, effective care for acute conditions while also emphasizing prevention and long-term wellness. I believe that proactive health measures and patient education are key to improving overall outcomes and quality of life.

I am especially proud of my service with the United States Public Health Service during my military career, which strengthened my commitment to community health and disease prevention. This experience continues to influence my approach, allowing me to care for patients not only as individuals, but as part of a broader community.
