At first I was very nervous meeting Dr Anaya since starting over with a new Cardiologist but after talking with him, I knew I was in the right place! Dr. Anaya has a good bedside maner and is very personable. However, he chases rabit trails like no other. I have a condition that simply needs to be monitored but Dr. Anaya gets over excited about little things and over prescribes meds. He wants to treat diabetes that I don't have (I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion). Stay in your lane Doc!

I met Dr. Anaya about 2 years ago, my doctor, Dr. Bridget Cooper wanted me to set up an appointment because of my heart beats, when I met him, it was such a warmness about him. I always pray before I go in for my Dr. appointments, we talked, and he wanted to do a deeper test (outpatient) which it was a success. Great bedside manners. I just went back to him in January 2025. Everything looks good. Dr. Anaya staff in Liberty were just awesome and friendly. So appreciative of your kindness.

Had a great experience with Dr. Anaya and his staff. Front desk personnel was very friendly and his nurses were wonderful as well. Dr Anaya is a compassion doctor always allowing time and asking questions about the patient. I have been seeing him for 2 years and would highly recommend.

Prior to visit I asked support staff twice if lab work was required. Both times told no. A week prior to appointment I was called and told to do lab work. So I drove 60 miles to do this. When arrived for appointment could not find labs. Very disappointing. Would hate to change doctors because support staff and him do not work together.

I am so impressed with Dr. Anaya’s care of my mother that I felt compelled to tell others. He is extremely accessible, called me to update me on everything he was doing with my mother and advocated for her while she was in the hospital. His diagnosis and remedy were right on. He made her feel comfortable and was patient with her. His nurse, Tonya, and other staff members at Meritas Cardiology are also excellent. I can’t say enough positive about these two. Highly recommend.
It's a privilege to be under the care of Dr Anaya. Not only does he provide unquestionable competent medical assessment and advise but he shows the special touch of human sensitivity. He does really listen to the patient and explains the different aspects of your case until you understand them and leave his office with no uncertainties in your mind. As a patient, I don't feel I'm just the previous case to his next appointment down a tight clinic agenda. I feel blessed and reassured to have Dr Anaya as my cardiologist.

Have been seeing Dr. Anaya for about a year for a heart condition after having a PE. He is very personable and knowledgeable. He sent me for some testing and then thoroughly went over the results with me so I could understand them. He then prescribed a med. for me to help with my condition and also spoke to me at length about needing to lose weight (as I was very obese, which was causing some of my problems). I knew I was overweight but just needed someone to push me to do something about it. I have to thank him for his advice because I have lost 60 pounds since my January visit and just had my last visit with him on Friday. My labs are now back to normal and feel better than I have in years. I would trust Dr. Anaya to treat any of my family members and will recommend him to others.

I had Dr. Anaya when I had a massive heart attack. He saved my life along with others. He is a very good cardiologist and really wished he would have stayed in Hays Kansas! A very good person and cardiologist!!
Takes the time to listen carefully and asks good questions. His drug plan has reduced the frequency of afib episodes. He has more ideas if my frequency doesn't continue to improve. I appreciate the effort to help control my afib.

This Dr ordered an expensive procedure without insurance authorization Pryor to procedure. test was deemed not medically necessary and BCBS is not coving the test. I was sent a bill for over $7800. Buyer be aware. Go somewhere else. Office does not answer the phone. And takes forever to return your calls. If the do. Very unprofessional.

I have had to obtain a new referral to a cardiologist because the office will not respond to calls. They tried twice to call me but claimed they called 4 times, that is not true my phone history is evidence of missed calls. I have attempted multiple times to call them back. I'm very disappointed in this broken process and lack of communication with the office for scheduling a procedure and test. I think the provider seems knowledgeable and I was pleased with his service but I needed followup
