About Me

I love to spend time with my husband and daughter. We love anything outdoors, including hiking, camping and visiting National Parks. I am passionate about interior design and can be found spending my free time hunting down vintage and antique treasures. I also love entertaining and hosting loved ones in our home.

Care Philosophy

The conditions that I treat are often sensitive in nature and private to the patient. I enjoy building relationships with patients to understand their goals for care. My focus is helping each individual understand their condition and working together to find the best treatment option. Through shared-decision making, the patient can feel in charge of their own health.

Area of Interest

As a Urogynecologist, I have a special interest in helping those suffering from pelvic floor disorders. This includes pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, bladder pain syndrome, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic pain and vaginal cysts and fistulas. I specialize in offering both non-surgical and surgical management for these conditions. I also have a unique focus on minimally invasive surgical approaches, including complex vaginal surgery, robotic surgery, sacral nerve stimulation and bladder Botox.

I saw Dr Ray in July of 2025. It’s taken me so long to write a review because, after seeing her, I saw another urogynecologist who took the time to listen to my concerns and I’m just finished recovering from surgery. My appointment with Dr. Ray was horrible. She was dismissive of my concerns and was unwilling to do so anything surgical about my uterine prolapse “because you didn’t even know it was there.” Because it came to light in a regular OB appointment, she didn’t do anything but tell me horror stories of another patient who was in worse shape than I was and then gave me a pessary, which fell out the next day because it was too small. Thank goodness I found a doctor who was willing to listen and wasn’t as dismissive and uncaring as Dr. Ray.

Dr. Ray came into the appointment well prepared, having read my file beforehand, therefore she was able to knowledgeably discuss my symptoms and treatment options. She's very personable and I left hopeful about solutions to my health issue.

I had a very nice visit with the doctor. She was very knowledgeable and took time to listen to my story. However, I was quite taken a back by the receptionist. When we entered the waiting area, she told us that she could not talk to us because she was on a break. Coming from a surgeon’s office at a well established and well, renowned such as North Kansas City Hospital, it bothered me that that’s how we were treated when we entered the waiting room. I would’ve expected to be treated in a more professional and friendly manner.

She was so very detailed brilliant in at of what includes women's health explained everything so I could understand what was happening very nice professional lady would recommend to anyone that is having women issues.

They staff was very nice. I felt like I was in the best of hands. My only problem ended up up being severe uterine cramping. And cramping in the left thigh, mostly inner thigh, running all the way down to my knee. But perhaps this was my own fault as I had not had a Speclum exam in 25 years. Thank you All. I liked the smiles that accompanied my visit.

This is my first visit with Dr. Ray. I found Her office personnel and assistant To be very cordial and professional. I was pleased with Dr. Reys approach and openness in Discussing my issues. I felt comfortable talking to Dr. Ray and was amenable to her recommendations.and responses to my questions. I have a follow up appointment that will be kept, and would definitely recommend others to see her.

I was thankful that Dr. Ray suggested two options for my particular situation and did not pressure me to make a decision that same day but instead is giving me time to think it over. Dr. Ray is respectful and kind and I really like her.

My only complaint is the room we were put in for the exam. This is silly, but maybe put the elderly in a room where they don't have to walk so far and there is a chair for the person that brings them. Other than that, I recommend Dr. Ray to friends and patients whenever I get the chance.

This was my first visit and i was very nervouse. The staff from receptionist to Nurse and Dr Ray, are very friendly with a smile and emphaty. Dr Ray listend to all my concers. Makes you relax. Thank you all for making it a plasent expiriencd and not a scarry one.
