Biography

Outside of work, I love spending time with my three boys, trying out new cooking techniques, growing tomatoes in the garden, practicing yoga, mountain biking, skiing and camping–pretty much anything that allows me to enjoy the outdoors with loved ones and recharge in the sunlight and fresh air.

Care Philosophy

For many patients, hospitalization represents a period of significant physical, emotional and psychological stress, often accompanied by uncertainty and fear.

My primary objective is to foster a safe, respectful, and healing clinical environment–one that places the patient at the heart of care.  This involves a commitment to patient directed communication, ongoing education, mindful use of tools/resources , and advocacy– all of which are essential to supporting each individual's unique health journey and promoting overall wellbeing.

Area of Interest

I am grateful for all the aspects of being a hospitalist because I have broad-ranging clinical interests.
