I have one prescription written by this office. I can never get in to see him for months on end. And yet won't refill prescriptions. I'm beyond frustrated at the difficulty with the doctors office and pharmacy. They are supposed to be your primary physician, but what good are they if it takes months to get in to see them. You're either healthy or it's too late by then!
Dr. Goergen is the best PC doctor I have ever had. Whenever I have an issue he takes the time to understand my needs, answer any questions I have, and talks through how he would like to approach potential treatment. But he also doesn't try to force feed medication that will just mask the issue nor talk down to his patients like it's "my way or the highway". He actually listens. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who they feel like will be a guide and a partner in their healthcare journey rather than feeling like just another number in an already overcrowded system.
I had constipation for a week. Dr. Jason Goergen saw me the day I called. He smiled and said something like "I think this will help you." I had tried a number of over the counter "cures" all week long with no results but I was hopefuls with his comment. After second dose, second morning I had relief by11 AM. He knew the right stuff!
Dr Goergen is fabulous!! I had not seen him in 2 years because my insurance changed, so I specifically searched out insurance that would include him. He is so real, patient and you just feel like he really cares!! Hopefully I never have to change again. 😊

I’ve been seeing Dr Goergen for a few years now and always appreciate his effort to understand and get to know his patients to make the best decision for them. Recently, I took my son in to see him for a check up and to discuss a possible ADHD diagnosis at the encouragement of my sons school. It would be easy for Doc to throw a med at my son but instead chooses to get to know him and get a treatment plan best for us. I have been hesitant to take him for any ADD/ADHD related instance because I always worried they would just see him as another check in the box of prescribing something that can have crazy side effects. I don’t think we will see another doctor unless we are referred by Dr Goergen because I trust and respect him for all of these reasons above. Thank you Dr!
So often Dr's do not take time to just visit with their patients. Dr Goergen is not one of those Dr's. He takes time to get to know me better each time I visit him. He also opens up about some of his own life as well. I started and ran a medical/Counseling clinic in Pennsylvania. He treats me with great respect. He also is truly on his game in his profession. I always know he will give me his very best treatment. I recommend him to every one looking for a very competent physician. I am 75 years old. He by far is the best primary care Doc I have ever had. A truly great Physician.

Dr. Goergen has been my physician for several years...he's always been candid and if there were ever any questions he always responded to the few phone messages I left for him.
I always feel that Dr. Goergen listens to any/all concerns I bring into the office. He always includes me in any plans moving forward and if he is unsure on any final treatment, he is one who does further testing, x-rays, scans, bloodwork, etc.which may rule out other things that may be unknown or otherwise presented. I always appreciate his thoroughness and professionalism.
I am in the medical field, often VERY disappointed by the way we through put patients as "customers " and have lost the personal touch. Dr.Goergen addressed my concerns, swiftly and with as much passion as I had. Reassuring me. Katie S. Was a catalyst for the appointment. Kudos to her!! His nurse, Kati, is an unhelpful barrier to communicating with Dr. Goergen. She relays incomplete information and can be very short with you. Getting anything accomplished here is like wading through mud. Once you see the doctor, he is very knowledgeable, informative, and answers all your questions - if you can get past Kati to have a follow up conversation.

I have been seeing Dr. Goergen since my previous doctor had retired. I have been impressed with his professionalism. I am a Medicare patient, but I'm not treated as an old timer complaining about everything. He has taken my visits seriously and has treated me accordingly. When I have asked a question concerning my visit, he has given me satisfactory answers. I have always been pleased with the care I have received from the staff at this particular Meritas facility.
