Dr Lagalle has always handled my usually difficult 96 year old father as his physician. She works hard to make sure he understands her communications with him, and that he is comfortable with everything. A tough job, but she handles him like a rock star!

I went to see Dr. LaGalle to establish primary care since moving to this area. She was very personable and kind. She didn't seem to be in any rush and took time to talk to me about any concerns. She ordered some tests and labs and I made a follow-up appointment for six months. Depending on my tests and lab results, I am curious to see if I will see her sooner. I am so far satisfied and believe she will be a good choice for my primary physician.

Dr. Lagelle was not throughout in the annual checkup. My mom is a new patient; she didn't order a blood test, a mammogram, and pap smear. (I work in healthcare so I know what the expectations are). The appointment was at 3:15 and my mom didn't get seen until 3:45 and didn't refer her to the lab when she asked. Just told her to go down there herself and tell them herself. Honestly, if you're looking for someone who actually puts effort into your health, I wouldn't recommend her.

I have had no problems with Dr Lagalle except for the fact that I can't get anyone there to return a phone call. I left 3 messages several weeks ago trying to get test results. After 10 days, a nurse called me. This week, I left a message on Monday-this is Thursday. No callback yet. All I need is for someone to tell me how and where I can get the RSV vaccine. I talked to the scheduler but she said they are separate and all they can do is transfer me again. I was told by my pharmacy I had to have a doctor's order for the RSV shot. Apparently, if I want any kind of care outside an appointment, I would have to go to the ER.
Dr. LaGalle takes time to answer my questions and seems to be invested in my health outcomes.

Dr LaGalle has been the best PCP I've had. After retiring I chose her as my PCP and it's been all positive. Besides monitoring my health issues she has offered her skills to secure a healthier lifestyle for my future. Her conversations with me are precise and clearly on point. She's thoroughly, present when in the room (doesn't tune you out), open to my opinions, will to try things outside of the conventional western medicine culture, doesn't mindlessly prescribed medicine and isn conscious of it! My primary doctor retired, Dr Hanson and she was the real deal. She always fit you in if something happen that was an emergency. I had her for over 25 years. I didn't know who to pick and unfortunately, it was Dr Lagalle. The office is not run professional and if you get sick too bad. It maybe next year if and when they can get an appointment for you. I do not recommend her or this practice. I recently found another medical facility and it's a 360 from this place.

Had good first visit with Dr. LaGalle. She went over my history and med list. Very helpful. But when I needed help with some issues I was told I need to find someone to help. What?? Then recently I've had some severe cough, sore throat,. Sinus pain. Hopeing for advise, a rx to take care of infection. After the nurses ask for my Pharmacy. I was told I had to come in. I'm really sick and driving 150 miles, no way. So disappointed. I'm done. Went to UnitedHealth Care found a Virtual Telahealth. I took pictures of my throat and told the Dr. All of my systems. Sinus infection. Got meds. They are on the way being delivered. There is a better way when you can't see your Dr. Sad this didn't work out. Miss Dr. Hanson.

Dr. LaGalle makes time for her patients in a way that it seems the healthcare systems tries to make impossible for physicians to achieve. She makes you feel heard and cared for and does not minimize any of your health concerns. During my appointments I do not feel rushed and on the occasion that I do need to reach out to her team I get a response in my patient portal extremely fast. I feel so lucky to have found such a great doctor here in Kansas City.
Dr. Lagalle literally saved my life. In a time when providers are few and have less time with a patient, Dr. LaGalle listens. She really listens. If you let her treat you and not you tell her how to treat you, her expertise is sharp, focused and intelligent. She listened to me last February when no one else was and saved my life by doing so. She directed my care to the best possible experts by understanding and identifying what was happening to me. And to be honest what was happening was not ordinary it was rare. 1 in a 100,000 people have what I experienced according to my CardiacThoracic surgeon and Cardiologist. She got me to them for what care I needed urgently. I will go to her and seek her care for as long as it is possible.
I transferred to Dr LaGalle at Dr Hanson’s opinion when she retired. I have seen Dr LaGalle only once. To be honest I hate changing doctors but had no choice. I believe Dr Hanson’s recommendation was on target. Dr LaGalle listened to what I had to say, asked questions and asked if there was anything else I would like to discuss. She has set up the labs that we discussed was very open and direct in a polite manner. In all my first visit and impression of her is very good. We will see how things go as time passes and get results of tests etc. I am hopeful for my future here in her care. Honestly I was leery at first having read previous reviews but I have found my experience to be a positive one.
Referrals to Specialist are slow or non existent. Lack of follow up with pt. On test results this is extremely concerning with positive results especially with Patients with multiple long-term health care issues. Disappointed because she came highly recommended.
every single time I have an appointment she asked me why am I there, I figured she would at least know that and I can never get her or the nurse to call back in a decent amount of time and my pharmacist send message after message after message for the same medicine which never gets filled I have to call leave a message after message after message for the pharmacist to even get the script for the medicine. She doesn’t have a great bedside manner to me.
I am a new patient, having only seen Dr LaGalle one time, but she gave me a good first impression. She was not in a hurry, listened carefully and gave me some thoughtful suggestions for my issues. A few days after my appointment I had a question and her nurse called back with a response on the same day. So far I am very happy with this doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. LaGalle's for a few years now and among this time the most common theme I have encountered has been the "inability to reach her or her RN any time that I've called". I leave messages to get back with me, whether it may be for a routine checkup or if I'm attempting to set up an appointment for a more serious matter, the result is the same. This has been an ongoing theme, even prior to the Covid-19.

I told her she was wrong and that I felt I was being discriminated against and asked to speak to a manager. I advise avoiding her.

This woman shouldn't be a doctor. They are supposed to help their patients not criticize them. Actual this doctor is one of the worst. My brother who is handicapped went to see her and she treated him like crap. The only time she touched him was only when she shook his hand. Then she told him to get out of her office. Terrible bed side manner. I give her a negative rating. You don't go around treating people like that. Get a different profession.
