About Me

Biography

Outside of my career, I spend most of my time at home with my husband and daughter on our farm, We have dogs, chickens and horses. We love being outdoors, visiting Lake Viking, Missouri, and hunting on our farm.

Care Philosophy

I try my best to listen to each patient as I would a family member or close friend. By placing my self in the patient's position, it helps me to better understand concerns and to develop a plan of care to best treat and fully support the patient.

Area of Interest

I particularly enjoy heart failure management and advanced therapies to support incisional healing (i.e., wound care, wound vacuum therapy). I also very much enjoy teaching evidence-based practice and supporting our nursing staff who care for heart patients throughout our facility.

The Doc we were scheduled to see was on PTO and the other surgeon was in surgery so this was a “fill in” basically to deliver information about the recent scan. Information delivered was inaccurate and contradictory to what the cardiologist had stated and current treatment plan. This APRN was argumentative and unwavering in her delivery of information. She continued by telling us that “… I have never heard of Dr.xxx saying that…” Personal statements made by my husband, were added into the Medical Record in quotations and have no place as part of a medical record. Statements were made indicating an exam but an exam was not done. This APRN had no knowledge of my husbands history and had NO business consulting. We revisited the test results today with the CT Surgeon, and concluded that what we tried to indicate to Ma. Daly WAS in fact the correct opinion of the surgeon. Had my husband followed her “expert advice”- he could have died or suffered a CATASTROPHIC cardiac event!
