Dr Engleman is very attentive and listens to you. He lets you explain why you choose to do things the way you are and seems to understand. He agrees to give it a chance and even might take s look and research my choice of supplements so he can educate himself more on the matter. Dr. Engelman has been my dr for the past 6 years now. He is kind, listens fully, tries his hardest to find solutions. For the past 14 years I have been dealing with endometriosis and dr. Engelman has helped me through different treatments and tests. He has helped me through both my pregnancies as well and as always has made me feel heard and cared for!

Dr Englemen is a wonderful Doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone that needs an OB. I've felt heard, and genuinely listened to since having to see him for my high-risk pregnancy. He had to a Cholposcopy on me for my first time meeting him and I had never felt more comfortable with an OB. Made sure i knee what was going on the whole time. Afterward, listened to me complain about my first pregnancy OB appt since the Doctors Assistant made me feel like a criminal. I was smoking weed before I was pregnant. I didn't know I was pregnant and the DAY I found out, I stopped. The Doctor and her assistant ordered a blood test which I knew I'd be positive for. They told me that legally if I test positive in my second, and third trimester, and at birth they'd have to contact CPS. I was honest that I had smoked and they made me feel like I was doing something wrong. After telling Dr Engelmen, he apologized, said thank you for being honest; and I'm now almost in my third trimester and have NOT had another blood test. So I feel like the MA said most of those things to scare me. I'm not a first time mom. I gave birth to my firstborn in WA state where weed is legal, and has been for almost 15 years. Just want Dr Englemen to know how appreciative I am that he was able to ease my mind when it came to CPS being called. He never said it wouldn't happen, just reiterated that if I had stopped when I said I did, then all would be fine.

Visit went as anticipated. Dr. Engelman was on time and addressed any issues. My GYN retired so it’s never fun to make that switch. I did leave feeling confident that I made a good choice for my future health care needs.

Meritas Health at NKC Hospital is a very professional office with a friendly staff. I am always made to feel comfortable while there. My gynecologist recently retired so I saw a new doctor, Dr. Peter Engelman. He was professional and kind. I would highly recommend this office to any woman seeking medical attention.
Dr. Engleman was very gentle with his exam. He talked me through everything he was doing while he was doing it. I was very nervous and anxious for my appointment and within 5 minutes of him walking in the room my nerves and anxiety levels came down. He always walks in with a smile. For someone who doesn’t trust a lot of doctors I can say I trust him 100%.

Dr. Engelman is a fabulous OB who listens to concerns and carries an open dialogue to notify you of next steps. I previously saw him when I was pregnant with my youngest but I have selected him as my primary OB for yearly visits after my previous OB retired. Due to childcare issues she had to last minute join me for my check up! He allowed her to wear gloves and help with hearing the fetal heart beat! She felt so special! Being a female, most people aren't comfortable but starting my pregnancy coverage with this practice was the best decision every. I never felt uncomfortable at anytime during the visit, and he answered all of my questions and asked me a lot of question in which he took into consideration and made sure that I didn't leave confused or concerned regarding the care for of my baby.
At first I thought this doctor was fantastic, and he was doing what was best for me. Today he dropped me as a patient, but still wanted me to follow up with him, if there is nothing you can do for me, I will find someone who will help me. I found out he was speaking to my other physicians without my permission. Which is a total violation of my trust. I am extremely disappointed and embarrassed. I will not be recommending him to friends, family, or even an aquaintance.
