Dr. Podrebarac made me feel comfortable and at ease. He was very thorough, explained things clearly and answered all of my questions. I appreciate his genuine care of the issues I presented. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The office and nursing staff were nice and got me in right away. I waited over 3 months for this appointment and I was completely disappointed. He wasn’t interested in anything I had to say about my medical history and skirted around answering my questions. He kept pushing allergy shots even though I said I had gone down that road before. He didn’t tell me why allergy shots would be helpful or answer any questions I had about the structure of my nose or sinuses. He scheduled me to come back in a year and that was it. It was a total waste of a copay.

Arrived for scheduled appointment on time and was placed in room rather quickly. However, MD didn't enter the room for another 45 minutes. Dr. Podrebarac was thorough in reviewing everything and assessing my issue. It just would have been nice to be updated while you're waiting on the MD-- I had to ask the front desk what was going on. I understand that emergencies happen, just be honest and keep your patient updated.

This was my first visit with Dr. Podrebarac but it will not be my last. He was very friendly and knowledgeable as well as being very informative and honest about my condition and prognosis. The staff was also very friendly and nice. I had researched ENT's prior to making an appointment with one and am very glad I chose him!
Although the doctor seems to understand what he’s talking about, the nurse does not. Even in the slightest. After getting a scan of my ears the doctor or nurse never reached out to discuss my results as previously stated. Had to call, leave a voicemail and get a call back the next day from the nurse. The nurse that called me back was not knowledgeable in her profession or skilled. If you ever need an ENT avoid NKC. Nurse just called me and tried to tell me “everything looks good on your ct scan. Would you like to move forward with a hearing aid?”. I explained to her that I needed a surgery to fit a prosthetic bone not a hearing aid. She told me my issue couldn’t be fixed by surgery. I asked her to define the medical term of my condition, she said “I’m not sure exactly”. She also stated that my issue wasn’t fixable by surgery. So I explained to her what my doctor, told me and she says “oh yea I can refer you to KU for that surgery. That’s an entirely different issue”. Acting like it was my fault and a separate issue then originally stated. Not only a confusing call but very concerning as you’re trusting your well being with these people. If I would’ve let her speak, she would’ve convinced me to schedule a hearing aid appointment and that I couldn’t be operated on. Turns out it’s a simple procedure from KU to restore my hearing for life with no aids. Will not be returning.

Appointment was at 3:00. Didn’t see Podrebarac until 4:03. No one to let me know he was running behind. They just let me sit in the exam room for an hour. Patient’s time apparently isn’t worth much.

I had an appointment for 11:10am. I was almost immediately put in a room. I sat in the doctor's room for almost an hour. I didn't see the doctor in this time. I finally left and will NOT be returning.
Staff is always considerate. Dr Podrebarac reviews results of all tests and explains them so that I understand.

Dr. Podrebarac did my son's ear tube procedure at 11 months old, and I can't say enough good things! The wait to be seen at Children's Mercy was several weeks, and we couldn't wait that long as my son had been battling an antibiotic-resistant double ear infection. There were less than 3 weeks between the day I called to make an appointment with Dr. Podrebarac and the day of surgery. Dr. Podrebarac is very kind, easy to talk to and put me at ease about my baby's surgery. A year later, my son hasn't had any more ear infections. Highly recommend!
The worst doctor I have ever had. He is only interested in helping patients if the answer is easy. He made me feel devalued and implied since the only test he ordered turned out fine that I must be making in up. He said my CAT scan was also fine, but bullied me into another appointment. If my test are fine and I am making it up, want do I need another appointment? When I lodged a complaint with Meritas' HR department, the lady told me it is not his first. (Alluded that there were many) I am personally seeking a second opinion. Remember Doctors are not actually a rarity. That's why they are able to have whole universities in order to become one. Finding one that is GOOD, that is what is rare. I encourage you to leave and find a better one.

I have been seeing Dr. Podrebarac at his Pavilion office for a few years, and each time I'm there he, his audiologist (Lisa), NP (Rebecca), nurse (Sarah) and their staff out front put me at ease, make sure they understand my concerns and provide the best solutions for me personally. I never wait long to see Dr. Podrebarac or Lisa. I know they have many patients, but I never feel rushed. They give me the time I need and make me feel like I'm their top priority. P.S. I had a new issue arise, and Kim quickly fit me in when a patient had canceled an appointment.

I would recommend Dr. Podrebarac to everyone. I went to him for years before moving to the gulf coast of Florida. I was so worried about my chronic ear problems and he told me that the move would be really good for my health and he was so right! When I had problems in KC he was very understanding and genuinely concerned about my ear issues that should have been resolved as a child. LOVE this clinic!
Although i had to wait well past my apppintment time it was well worth it. The staff is very nice. The doctor is extremely nice and very knowledgeable.
