For every referral you will receive:

  • Full-time RN: $2,500
  • Part-time RN: $1,250
  • Graduate Nurse: $1,000

Who is eligible to make a referral?

Participation is open to all nonexecutive and nonmanagement NKC Health employees.

How do I refer an RN candidate?

Simply complete the Employee Referral Form. Applicants should also put the name of the referring NKC Health employee on their application. Referred candidates will follow all NKC Health recruiting and hiring processes.

What does "qualified candidate" mean?

NKC Health is looking for Graduate Nurses and experienced RNs who meet the qualifications listed in the job descriptions of open positions.

What happens if my referral candidate is hired?

If the Graduate Nurse or RN candidate you referred is hired by NKC Health, you will be paid 60 days after the candidate is hired. These are the bonus award amounts:

  • $2,500 for full-time RNs working 72 hours per pay period
  • $1,250 for part-time RNs working between 48 and 71 hours per pay period
  • $1,000 for a Graduate Nurse

What makes a referral ineligible for the program?

  • Referral of an RN candidate received from another source (recruitment advertising, job boards, external job boards, external recruiter/staffing firm, etc.)
  • Referral of any current NKC Health employee
  • Referral of agency staff or individuals on contract employment status

Please keep in mind

  • A referral award recipient must be an active employee at the time of payment.
  • All bonus awards are taxable income subject to tax withholdings.
  • This program does not include RN PRN or RN PTOC.
  • There is no limit to the number of Graduate Nurse or RN candidates you may refer or bonus awards you may receive.
  • The referral must represent the candidate’s first contact with NKC Health.
  • Human Resources has the final authority and discretion over all aspects of the referral program, including program rules and bonus eligibility. Any disputes or interpretations of the program are handled exclusively through Human Resources.
