Media requests
We know how important it is to get timely information. That’s why we have a media relations representative on-call during weekdays and over weekends for urgent requests. For questions related to breaking news or time-sensitive information, call (816) 691-1680 and select option #1. Please send all other inquiries here.
Release of patient information
We take our patients’ privacy seriously. HIPAA has strict parameters around the release of patient information. As such, we are only able to issue a one-word condition report if:
- You have the patient’s full first and last name.
Without this information, no information can be disclosed. Under certain circumstances, we have the right to withhold information to protect patient privacy and safety. We appreciate your understanding and care in handling this sensitive information.
Information about minors cannot be released without the signed permission of a guardian.

Information on campus visits
If you're hoping to visit our campus for an interview or to capture photos or video, we’re happy to help make that happen. Please be sure to contact our on-call media contact before your arrival. Without prior authorization, our security team will kindly ask you to leave. For the safety and privacy of our patients, visitors and staff, all media must be escorted while on campus.
