North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health recorded its first birth in 2024 at 12:08 a.m. on New Year’s Day. Weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long, baby Luna was welcomed by parents Alyssa and Henry.
Staff celebrated the hospital’s first baby of the year by gifting the family a basket of newborn items before they return home.
