Dr Hawa takes the time to patiently answer my questions in civilian language I can understand. I have confidence in him & his medical staff. All in all a worthwhile, pleasant experience.
Dr Hawa is a lifesaver. Not only did he catch my heart issues but he has also been able to assist me in dealing with my cholesterol and even helped figure out a problem with my hip. My wife says he is an Angel!
Very amazing experience with staff and Dr. He was very personable, well prepared to answer all my question including sharing new information on future treatments.. Made me feel extremely comfortable. The topper, went in for a calcium score and the woman who checked me in said Dr. Hawa had saved her husband. I would highly recommend seeing him.

Didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. After nurses double checked prescription, allergies information, the doctor came in a couple of minutes. Spent about 10 minutes together then I left the office. In and out quick, the way it should be.
When my doctor of over 20 years retired I was put with Dr Hawa. I must admit I was very impressed. Although he did not explain to me he was ordering a test at the hospital I saw it on my paperwork but the test he was ordering, let me know he was much more aware, from his review of my heart then what I thought he was. As the test that he orders was one of my concerns that was perfect. So basically he is extremely knowledgeable I really do like him I just think he needs a little bit more time with the patient as my previous doctor had and would sit down and talk to you and ask you your concerns and what's going on go over what you want to go over a little bit more on the personal side. But as I said on an overall basis he obviously picked up more than what I had thought. So as I said I was very impressed. He obviously is very good.
I love love love me some Dr. Hawa and his staff. I barely sit down in the waiting room before I'm called. Dr Hawa always goes over my chart thoroughly and asks plenty of questions. He is also excellent at explaining things. His nurse Carol is always happy smiling and helpful with all of my needs. They are all considerate, kind, helpful and understanding. I highly recommend them.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hawa for over 10 years (a visit every six months), now all of a sudden it is impossible to get an appointment. I try setting one up before leaving the office and the office tells me his calendar isn't open yet. Then I get a text that I can set up an appt and I try, it tells me to call the office. The office says they must have had over 4000 calls to set up appt and they don't have any. I try back a month later and they say he has no appts available but his Sept calendar will open soon. I asked to be put on a list for that and they say they can't. I ask to have an appt with another cardiologist on the team and they say there are none available (how is there no doctors available for appointments)? If he wants to see me every six months how am I supposed to do this? This has gotten beyond ridiculous. Other than that Dr. Hawa is a good doctor.
Dr. Hawa was very nice, he spent time reviewing my history and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He’s my cardiologist moving forward for sure. Great staff as well.
De. Hawa’s office was a pleasant experience. I was promptly greeted and treated kindly with a smile. My nurse was outgoing and made me feel at ease. Dr. Hawa was great at explaining what he needed me to do and answered all questions that I had about procedures and medications. I would highly recommend care at this office.

Sooo timely no waiting at all. I feel Dr Hawa and his nursing staff were very kind and careful during my checkup.
Dr. Hawa has been my husband's cardiologist for almost 20 years. He has been accurate with his diagnosis and care. My husband had eight stents and a heart valve replacement (TAVR) done by Dr. Hawa. His care was excellent. He takes time to explain and listen to concerns. His office staff is about as good as they come. They are very caring and go out of their way to make sure everything is understood. I highly recommend him.

There was no long wait. The nurses were extremely nice. And Dr. Hawa was his usual polite and informative self. I felt very comfortable with our visit. The nurse who checked my device was also very nice.

I was shamed for not having enough money to get my teeth fixed to get heart surgery. Some of us are struggling to pay bills, let alone dropping $7g's to get my teeth done. Because who doesn't want a mouth full of bad teeth and horrible toothaches? Was told he didn't feel comfortable seeing me anymore and I wasn't concerned enough about my health and he refused to watch me continue with heart failure. Really helpful to someone with a heart condition. Just FYI, I didn't give this to myself I had a cold that was untreated as a child and the infection went to my heart. And absolutely no answers to how I would know if my heart is failing, failing? Strange. Getting another opinion, Research is a great hospital.

My 21 year old daughter saw Dr. Hawa for chronic fainting and dizziness. He prescribed medication that only worker temporarily. From there he would only refer us to Mayo Clinic. No additional tests, even though we asked for it, he refused and only told us to go to Mayo because his office couldn't handle it. We ended up seeking an additional opinion through another practice and they were wonderful. Performed the test that we had asked for and received an appropriate diagnosis. She had surgery within 2 weeks and is now recovering nicely and will be able to lead a normal life again. Wish it was Dr. Hawa that could have done that for us.
