When the results of tests came back, she called and facilitated getting a medication for me even though I was out of state at that time. Later that day she even contacted me to make sure I had been able to get started on the medication. She is great!

Vanessa was very pleasant and thorough. She answered all of my questions. I would give my interaction with her a five star rating. The reason for my three star rating is because my appointment was at 8:40 AM and I did not see Vanessa until 9 AM. On the portal it states that if the patient is more than five minutes late, the appointment will be rescheduled in order to keep everything on schedule. There was only one other patient waiting ahead of me when I arrived at 8:35am and no other patient exited before the patient waiting was called back. Yet my appointment time was delayed 20 minutes. It would have been nice for the receptionist to let me know that the appointments were running that far behind.
Nurse McAnally was patient, focused and caring. She listened to me, asked all the right questions, and showed real concern for my welfare. But even more, during the post New Year snow-maggedon that shut down nearly everything, she made herself available for patients. I truly appreciate her.

I came in on the wrong day. They looked for cancellations for me, unfortunately there weren’t any at the time. They called me back an hour later and had a cancellation. I came in for the appointment and they were awesome!
I brought my daughter in and I needed to be seen myself. They found a time for me to be seen and I ended up being way more sick than I realized bc I had been caring for everyone else and not paying attention to my own symptoms. We are 24 hours on medicine and already feeling way better!!

My appointment was made online, I showed up a little bit early, and was admitted without any issues. The staff were friendly and efficient when checking in for my appointment. Vanessa was professional and thorough when I described my symptoms. She even let my 4 year old daughter help with the initial check up and my daughter enjoyed being able to help. I had my issue resolved quickly and the overall experience was positive.

Lastly, forgot to mention I was so ill that she literally gave me the banana from her own lunch to make sure I started to feel better immediately. What a gem.

The Meritas Express clinic was convenient, clean, and quick. The Nurse Practitioner was very professional and understanding. My needs were met with exceptional care.
Was refused care because I could not pay a $20 copay at time of service when I was extremely ill and had to be driven to my appointment and forgot my wallet. The young lady at the front desk was not pleasant at all, very short and snarky. She said she checked with billing to see if I could be seen, literally not even two seconds later she said they refused. I highly doubt she even checked. From the moment I walked in she was not pleasant at all, I arrived early for my appointment and was told I had to wait until my actual scheduled appointment time, again i was extremely ill and had to get a ride and was just trying to seek care sooner than later. I was under the impression that this is a walkin clinic where you can be seen with or without an appointment. There was literally nobody waiting when I arrived so I'm not quite sure why I was told to come back at my appointment time. Anywho the service that I did receive by the front desk will keep me from ever returning to this location!!! This rating is strictly based on my encounter with the front desk and not the provider.

Vanessa is awesome. She treats her patients like family. She is personable, respectful, kind hearted and caring. She ensures all your needs are met prior to your departure and does great follow up calls to ensure you are on the right track for getting better. In addition, I just finally needed to take my kids into see her, she is AMAZING with kiddos! Her receptionist/aide does amazing with them as well. We had a bit of chaos having to sick kiddos and mom in one and she kept them busy, assisted where she could with testing and etc.
Went in because I had poison ivy and they were very nice and help me to get this problem resolved.

Vanessa was wonderful at the Meritas clinic at Hyvee 64th st, KC. I was the last patient of the day and she was not rushed. She took her time and was very thorough. She made sure my medication was filled that night by making extra phone calls to find a pharmacy that was still opened. It was much appreciated. I also received a follow up call to make sure I was doing ok. She is very kind and considerate. Thank you Vanessa !

I knew some of what was going on but she made sure to read over my patient charts from Meritas to make sure she had all the appropriate information and made sure that she gave me the correct medication for the fact that my husband and I are trying to conceive.

Ear clogged. She was able to clean the ear canal and could then see I had an ear infection. Prescribed an antibiotic and wanted to give me ear drops too, but I'm allergic to one of the ingredients so did not give me eardrops, which I am grateful for!

I had a sinus infection and slight fever. Saw Vanessa at Meritas Liberty Hyvee. She listened to,my concerns without judgement and did a focused exam.
