I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I love to travel, hike, cook, and bake. My wife and I also enjoy participating in races, primarily 5Ks and 10Ks.

Care Philosophy

I believe in evidence-based practice. Clinical decisions should never rely solely on the mindset of “that’s just how we’ve always done it” or “that’s how I was taught.” Providers must understand the rationale behind their choices and stay current with emerging research and standards. Healthcare is constantly evolving, and our patients deserve the safest, highest-quality care we can provide. I also value clear, compassionate communication — taking time to listen, educate, and build trust with each patient to help ease anxiety and foster a sense of safety and collaboration.

Areas of Interest

My areas of interest include the prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), education, and global health outreach through mission work. I’m passionate about improving patient comfort and outcomes through thoughtful, evidence-based anesthesia care. I also enjoy mentoring students and supporting the next generation of nurse anesthetists as they develop their clinical skills and professional identity.
