She is the worst doctor in neonatal care. She is present in the hospital to examine newborns. She vaccinated my daughter and after that my daughter was crying a lot. I told her, can you check on my daughter? Why is she crying? She always said, “There is nothing wrong, everything is normal.” But after that im goging to children Mercy , I discovered that my daughter’s foot was broken because of the negligence of this doctor and the medical staff. Be careful of her. She does not examine children. She is a liar.
Dr.Krahn and staff are amazing! We have been going here for kiddos entire life and have always had good experiences. The online forms are very easy to complete prior to the appointment which is my favorite in terms of convenience. Krahn is engaged and dedicated to the wellbeing of my child with all my questions and reassurances. Insanely grateful for all they do to help mothers & fathers in our community!
Dr. Krahn was the doctor at NKC hospital when I had my son and I knew then I wanted her as my children’s PCP. I take all 3 of my children to her for wellness checks and varying issues throughout the year and I fully trust her to listen, follow through, and give good recommendations. She also takes her time making sure the kids are comfortable and doesn’t rush through the appointment.
The best pediatrician I have ever encountered. I first met her after my son was born and she has always approached my family with great clinical knowledge and understanding. She has so much empathy and passion for what she does, and I do not think I could ask for a better provider for my children.
I took my daughter in for her 3 year checkup (4-29-24). We didn't have any major concerns going in, but Dr. Krahn noticed some VERY slight symptoms that seemed a little abnormal. To be safe, she sent us over for blood work. Within 2 hours, my daughter was admitted to Children's Mercy with leukemia. Because of how early it was detected, she was in remission after roughly 2 months of treatment. Dr. Krahn is one of a kind. Most doctors today just want to push you out the door while putting in the bare minimum effort. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Krahn and how dedicated she truly is!
Eve Krahn was the acting pediatrician after our delivery and came to take Baby for a standard procedure. She was in street clothes and did not explain why she was there or where baby was going. She did not allow Mom or Dad to feed and change Baby even though Dad asked to do so. Mom was clearly trying to rest, but upon return Eve Krahn was very disruptive by making noise and turning on lights, followed by gaslighting Mom and Dad for not feeding or changing baby before she took him.
Dr.Krahn and her nurses were hands down the best! Not only was their bedside manner amazing, they were also they first people to make me feel comfortable leaving the office with answers on my child. The nurse was able to calm my daughter and make her feel comfy while taking a covid test. And Dr Krahn was great with my daughter to where my daughter felt comfortable enough to answer her questions (which has never happened before) I am beyond pleased with the care we received
Dr Krahn is always kind and patient with us. She has a genuine concern for my kids well being, and she is incredibly respectful to us all
Well-child checkups with Dr. Krahn are always a delight. She always has plenty of useful advice. We never feel as if we are being rushed through and her interactions with our son are always positive, so he looks forward to his visit each year.

Not only does she take the time to listen and hear my concerns as a parent but she really takes the time to talk to the children one on one and build the relationship between herself and them. She is part counselor for the parent that’s always doubting themselves and absolute best pediatrician I could find for my child. we would not go anywhere else. She is beyond amazing. She respects my boundaries as a parent, anything I am, or am not interested in for my child. Educates me on what I need to know. But always respect my decisions. I highly recommend anyone looking for a pediatrician to go here. Very clean nice up-to-date facility. With a terrific terrific medical provider. You would honestly be hard-pressed to find a better provider than Dr Krahn. She is the best.

She should learn more about her patients who are seen by Specialist not in her office keeping up to date on their ever evolving illnesses. Especially involving children with chronic & life-threatening diseases. If you need someone for well checks only. Maybe. If you need someone for your child to follow through their pediatric developmental stages? She's not it. Rude. Do better Meritas Pediatrics when talking to parents who children may no wake up the next morning. Show some care. She did not.
The wait was over an hour after our appointment time
I felt Dr. Krahn seemed very professional. She listened to my concerns and she even figured or that my daughter had strep throat even though she didn’t have the usual signs for strep. My daughter ended up having strep in her esophagus instead of her throat which caused a bleed and we went on to spend 4 days in Children’s Mercy. Thanks to Dr. Krahn I was able to tell them even though her throat looked fine that my daughter did test positive for strep and that really helped expedite the hospital’s care of my daughter. Trust this doctor and would see her again.
My appointments have been.canceled and rescheduled multiple times. I’ve also not been able to get my child in for a sick visit several times when needed. Even though I called right when the office opened, they said all the appointments are filled. I’m tired of not being able to get my child seen when needed and having to use the urgent care as our Dr office. It’s hours of waiting, more expensive and it clogs up the urgent care availability to those who really need it. I’m looking to take my child elsewhere for her healthcare.
IF I WAS JUST GIVING MY OPINION ON THE DR I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS BUT DEALING WITH HER STAFF IS USUALLY NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE SO I ONLY GAVE THE VISIT THE 3 STARS---YOU NEED TO DIVIDE THE 2 UP
When I took in my child, this doctor was very rude. My child was sick, and we went in because she couldn't breathe. This doctor came in and immediately told us that my 3-year-old needed to wear a mask. I got annoyed because 1- I'm there because my child can't breathe and yet you want her to put a mask on that'll make her breathing harder 2- you're more than likely vaccinated and you're wearing a mask already so why not let the vaccine do its job and not worry about someone else being masked if you're already masked. Made no sense to me. Was very short and impatient. Would not recommend her at all.

After our insurance changed, we were forced to find a new pediatrician. We were with our last one for over 20 years. My tween daughter was very happy with her visit to Dr. Krahn, which in turn made me a very happy momma! She's very personable, down to earth and took her time answering our questions. Her office staff were also friendly and welcoming and we were seen at our appointment time.
