Was a positive experience.
He's not my regular doctor, but I would have no problem seeing him again. He was very informative and got me well within a couple of days. I'm glad we have him at this location.
My physical was quick & informative
Dr McCormick is absolutely the Best...fantastic listener, very knowledgeable and very kind.
Dr McCormick is very personable and does not rush.
Great service
Pleasant informative knowledgeable. Did not seem rushed. Not my regular family doctor but was very pleased to meet him.
Have gone to Dr Mc cormick for yrs. He is just fine.
the doctors office was really good
He helped me with my problem. Hopefully, it’ll feel better in the weeks to come.
Friendly and professional treatment as always
I was very please that Dr. McCormick was able to work me into his schedule on a short notice during a busy holiday time. His care focus was good. Didn't pin point what the problem was, but did confirm no Covid or pneumonia. I appreciated the time efficiency. Big shout out to my attending nurse. She was very professionally friendly and efficient. Blessings to all for the New Year.
I submitted a message through the patient portal over 24 hours ago with no response.
Dr. McCormick is both very professional and personable. He has always fully answered any questions I may have as well as inquiring about any needs.
Dr McCormick is a professional well mannered man and cares about his patients.
Dr. David McCormick is a great doctor and his crew are awesome. They always make me feel welcome and are attentive to my needs. Dr.McCormick has been my Dr for a long time. I trust him and his crew always.
Dr. McCormick is very thorough & informative
Great experience. The doctor knew what he was doing. You made me feel important and reassured.
I have been a patient here most of my life. Dr. McCormick has seen me several times. I like how straightforward he is.
Dr. McCormick has been an amazing advocate for my health care. He is thorough, considerate, professional. You can tell he is invested in your health. I would highly recommend Dr. McCormick for all your health needs.
The doctor was not with me for more than a couple minutes. My visit consisted of me telling him what I thought was wrong, him telling me the lab work confirmed it and him writing a prescription then leaving. He didn't take the time to listen to my heart (which I thought was done every visit, or at least it has been part of every other DR visit I have had) maybe that would have taken too long? I don't know... I felt as if it was a "get them in and out as quick as possibe" situation so they can bill as much as they can in a day. Would not recommend. And btw.. still don't feel well after taking meds for 5 days and have to go back so they can bill again. Doesn't seem like a caring doctors office to me.
Dr McCormick was very short with me. Barely even took the time to tell me anything. I had to butt in before he just left to even get a single question in. Would recommend staying away from him and go with a better doctor that actually cares that you are a human being.
Seemed professional. But very pushy about what he wants you to do regarding vaccines. If you have questions or need more information, don’t go to him. All he will do is state you need them and to just do it. I went once. Not returning.
Thank you for taking care of business!! I reached out when I was in need and you handled everything accordingly! In fact, same day!!
Got me right on n and Dr McCormick spent Tim on all the issues and addressed all my questions.
Dr. McCormick was very professional. He provided a quick but thorough exam. I was sure glad to be able to get in and see him on such short notice.
good doctor and listens to you
As always, I was pleased with my visit.
Dr. McCormick was wonderful with my 94 year old mom. He took his time, spoke clearly and listened to her concerns.
Dr. is always so passionate and listens to your concerns. He has a gentle demeanor. I would recommend him to anyone that is seeking a Doctor.
Dr. McCormick is a great physician . He has been my doctor for over 20 years . He has been a very reliable person and has always given me the care I need. I would refer him to anyone.
My mother has seen Dr McCormick for approximately 30 years. He was also my father's doctor until he passed 15 1/2 years ago Both of my parents really like(d) him as he is a very thorough and intelligent doctor. Mom is 87 now and he treats her extremely well and with respect. His nurse Sandy is also the best!
I’ve seen Dr. McCormick for many years. He’s always listening to the issues you have and diagnosing the problem. There is a clear plan for treatment and when to follow up if there’s still a problem.
I appreciate having very little wait time. Dr McCormick listens to my concerns and answers my questions. I never feel like I am being rushed out of there. He is very patient.
Today Dr. McCormick was personable. He was very thorough and ordered more tests to find the cause, not just medicate.
Dr. McCormick is great and the staff was polite and fast!
Dr. McCormick was very efficient, informative, courteous and helpful during my office visit to get my prescriptions renewed.
My visit with Dr. McCormick went fine.
Grateful for good medical advice and care.
We are very please in meeting Dr. He was very pleasant.
Has been our doctor a long time, always professional and provides good care for us
He gave an excellent diagnosis and treatment for my condition. I have seen him for a long time, and taking the medicines he has prescribed has made my life a lot better.
Professional, precise,
Very professional
My family and I have been seeing Dr McCormick since 2007. He always gets us in when we need to see him. He makes sure we are thoroughly assessed and sends us to a specialist promptly if we need one. He lets us know our results in a timely fashion so we are not waiting. He is a good PCP.
So far everybody has been very courteous, friendly and efficient. I feel like they really care about me
He listened to my concerns. Very prompt
He was friendly and very helpful. He was very attentive to my needs
Good
Jeez, he never gets a break for being most excellent and personal.
The long story short is he does not care about his patients and is a liar. Avoid at all costs.
My regular doctor was unavailable because I had to get in last minute to try and get answers about a pressing matter. He did not seem at all concerned with finding the cause of my issue, just totally breezed through my appointment and was about to send me home after 1 test even though I had done several others just like it that had come back with mixed results (reason for visit). I had to reiterate my concerns about the test he gave still not giving me an answer to what is going on before he sent me for a more definitive test. I still did not get an explanation for why I had mixed results. What little info he did offer he stated probably didn't apply to me so I was left with 0 answers for my particular situation. Also, after explaining at least twice that I do not experience a certain thing, it was listed as my diagnosis on my checkout paperwork....
Dr. McCormick is a very knowledgable doctor who took the lead for my daughter's healthcare when other doctors knew she was compromised but couldn't determine the cause. He ordered additional tests and thought she should be seen by a pediatric cardiologist vs. just having the heart tests. It turned out she had a heart condition that could be fixed. Dr. McCormick was excellent in his follow-through and care to make sure she could participate in school sports. He really went above and beyond and we appreciated his judgment.
The whole place is a scam. And dr McCormick is no different. It's all about which meritas Dr can I send him to next, oh that Dr said he wants you to see this Dr and see what he says. Oh he suggests you see this docter before we prescribe anything useful. I've been seeing Dr McCormick for over a year and not once have I left his office with any kind of help or resolution just referrals to other meritas Dr.'s
Regular doctor was unavailable, this doctor kinda of breezed through our appointment like he had much better things to do, instead of explaining anything, so what was the point of going to the doctor, other than I can't write my own script, that's why he got one star because he wrote the script and your not allow zero or half of 1 star.
We recently moved to North KC and needed a regular doctor. Dr. McCormick is an attentive listener and is straight forward. Exactly what we look for in a doctor!
Despite having a diagnosis from a psychiatrist and have been taking the same medication and dose for over 6 years he questioned and belittled me about my request for a prescription for a stimulant. He treated me as if I was a drug seeking addict and refused to give me more than 1 month of meds at a time so I have to call every month to get a refill and heaven forbid I get a refill late.
My first time seeing Dr. McCormick (My regular doc was booked.) He made an accurate diagnosis, prescribed meds that worked and sent me on my way. Very pleasant and professional experience.
My original doctor was on vacation so the hospital transferred me to this doctor who showed no care nor compation. His motto is "you are drug seeker untill proven otherwise". small variations in generic brands manifests itself as big changes in bahvior if you were taking a CNS stimulant. And the doctor didnt seem to acknowledge that at all. The staff were dismissive and rude and were not helpfull at all.
Dr. McCormick Has been my family Dr for many years, He has always worked very hard to take care of medical problems that have come up. I'm 70 years old and have had more than my share of problems, problems that Dr. McCormick has done an excellent job of taking care of every thing that has come up.
Dr. McCormick is as thorough a physician as I have ever used. The reason I selected him in the first place, is because of recommendations from other physicians, who universally agreed he is one of the best family care physicians in the city. His staff on the other hand...
He was very rude & disrespectful to a patient that had Brain surgery 5/31 & had no surgery or pain meds since 1974. She was looking for a pcp as she is new to the area. He made her feel as tho she was a drug seeker. He only chked one place on her body that was broken out w/ shingles, which by the way he didn't know what it was & sent her to a dermatologist. He didn't know what it was because he looked at ONE spot instead of all or he just didn't know?tell me which is worse? 1 visit -never again
