About Me

Biography

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading and cuddling with my dogs and a hot cup of coffee.
 

Care Philosophy

I believe that health decisions should be made as a team, between the provider and patient. Patient education is very important. The more informed patients are about their conditions, the more they are able to fully participate in their care.
 

Area of Interest

I enjoy caring for patients of all ages, but I especially love seeing children. I also like to focus on mental health, especially for teens.

I actually saw NP student Valerie first. Who i give a 10 out of 10 to. She will be an amazing NP. Darci then came in and was very thorough. I’m just hoping to get my test results back quickly.

I contemplated changing my PCP due to distance, I called the day before and was given an appointment which I appreciated. The receptionist was very kind and Tammy who checked me in was very nice and inviting. Darci also welcomed me as a new patient and addressed my concerns. I’m glad that I found a provider less than one mile from my home.

When I arrived at the clinic I was greeted by the friendly staff and checked in for my appointment. I waited a very short time before being called for my appointment, prior to my appointment time. The nurse asked the routine question checked my vitals and called the doctor. In a very short time the doctor/NP (Darci Feiden) went over my chart, recommended I have some follow up test done, renewed my prescriptions and completed my checkup. Ms. Feiden was very helpful and did a great job. The entire staff at Meritas Health PC is great and I look forward to my next visit.

The worst appointment ever, U came today to get surgical approval. She decided to bring up a irregular EKG the day before surgery insisting on a Cardeology approval. When this EKG should have been addressed 5 weeks earlier when I was seen by her. So now I had to cancel a very important joint replacement.

On time, extremely knowledgeable quick to assess, kind and thorough - this DNP ( nurse practitioner with doctorate of nursing ) was on it !!!! I was home with my meds within 60 min of the start time of my appointment . My PCP Dr Yocum is here and amazing but wasn’t available - Will not go to any other clinic and will be happy to see Darci and her team again .
