I have been a patient of Dr Fredrickson since 2015. I trust him and Meritas Healthcare to watch over me. So far that have done pretty well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fredrickson for almost twenty years and he has always treated me with respect and kindness. Even when I need him to explain things to me like I’m a 6 year old. For this I am grateful due to the fact that at those times I am scared and not very attentive.

First, I have actually been dealing with meritas for more than a decade. I have always found the office personel, nurses, and care staff to be friendly ,polite and communicative. I just came back after having moved away for two years and all of that is still true. Dr Fredrickson is personable, respectfull, with a sense of humor. He is also efficient, does not waste time in getting done what I came there for. The office is clean and organized. I would recommend the doctors here to anyone.

I was looking for a new doctor when the hospital decided my dad should go into hospice care where they understood pain and was very caring up until he passed 6 months later. That man shouldn't be around elderly sick people.

I felt like I was treated with respect the receptionist for very polite. The doctors nurse was respectful, and I wasn’t filled as I was hurried up. Dr Fredrickson was very patient with me and was concerned about my health.
I had an appointment with the doctor he was very patient kind and understanding. I had read a lot of mixed reviews that were negative. I had a very nice experience with him and his staff. Definitely recommend.
My longtime doctor, Dr Stanley retired, so I transferred to Dr. Frederickson. I had high expectations for another dr , because he would have some big shoes to fill. I have only seen him 3 times. The last time my PSA levels had more than doubled. He recommended me to a urologist and I discovered I had low risk prostate cancer. As stated I have only been seeing him for approximately 2 years and he’s very informative and knowledgeable. when I shattered my big toe, he recommended I take a certain precaution to resist infection. No other doctor had mentioned that, so I appreciated the precautionary advice I was not given by another dr.

I had several health issues. He was carrying. Solved the them. I was so achy I only slept for 1 1/2 hrs-3 hrs at night. Now I sleep 7-9 hrs without sleeping pills. I am so grateful. His staff are friendly and kind. So glad I went to see him.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Fredrickson for several years and feel I receive the best of care! The nurses and staff at his office are always welcoming and provide answers to all my questions in a timely manner.
I transferred to Dr. Fredrickson because my doctor for the past 10+ yrs retired. And in the beginning (2+yrs as of today) he decided to change the way I received my medication. And completely refused to continue a narcotic I’d beeN taking for 7+ yrs without any help with withdrawals, So I agreed because I thought he was looking out for my best interest. So I went from receiving (2) medications, to (1) medication from every 90 days to monthly, it was tedious at first, but because I needed it, I continued to go through not having my pain medication he stopped for months until my chronic knee pain was unbearable. I started seeing another doctor for my chronic knee pain. Dr Fredrickson decided I needed to come in for a visit in order to refill my sleeping medication. Upon seeing him, I told him about seeing the other doctor and the medication he prescribed. Dr Fredrickson refused to refill my sleeping meds that I’ve been taking for years without offering any help with tapering off. He actually indicated he could not see me anymore because I was taking narcotics. I’ve never given any indication of abusing or miss using any of my medications. I’m a Phelebotomist who worked 7yrs overnight, switched to dayshift years back… I have a hard time with sleeping with my anxiety, and am on my feet 10 hrs a day which causes my knees to hurt at the end of the day. He seem just disinterested in helping me. After leaving I realized it hurt to have a doctor treat me that way. So, I’m sorry, I’ve decided to discontinue my services with Dr Dan Fredrickson, dr
I really enjoy Dr Fredrickson and his staff. They are very knowledgeable very kind. They always follow up when they say they are going to call me back and they explain things to me in a clear Laymans term I have a new insurance and I thought that Dr Fredrickson was not going to be my doctor any longer because of my new insurance, but it turned out he is. I’m so thankful that I can keep him as my primary doctor.

I think Dr. Dann does a great job and knows me quite well even when I’m sick he knows me quite well, that was a joke. I latest problem was tripping and falling in the shower stall and landing on my left side breaking some ribs. I had just returned from a trip to Cincinnati, which is where this accident happened. He was booked all last week directed me to go to the emergency room at North Kansas City Hospital, which I did. They confirmed my conclusion that I had fractured ribs. Glad he is my Doctor!
He is an excellent doctor but at times it is very difficult to make an appt. This has happened to me twice in two years and I ended up in the hospital for two weeks each time.
Until this year I only used him for my annual checkups. Very quick and not complete. However, this year he told me I needed to see a particular doctor for a cortisone shot. What he did not tell me was the doctor he sent me to was a surgeon. I discovered it when I checked. However the one he referred me to was not the proper one. While I received the shot I wasted that doctor's time. I was never told that if I had the shot I could not have shoulder surgery for three months until I called back the surgery office to schedule the surgery. I was assured that a lab request was sent for a follow up but when I went today no lab request had been sent.
Went to see him for my annual checkup after my PC went into retirement. He filled in while my newly assigned primary was out and again the next time my PC was out. Dr. Fredrickson is now the primary for both myself and my husband thanks to his referral to NKCH for a neurological problem. NKCH staff and doctors were amazing and figured out what was going on within a day. Happily adopted Dr. Fredrickson two days later and look forward to seeing him again for my followups.
Dann Fredrickson is a medical professional that get the job done. I am impressed by how quickly he addresses my medical issues. Dr. Fredrickson does not sugar coat his care. He is a straightforward professional that does what is best for his patients.
Dr. Fredrickson is the worst doctor I've ever had. He could care less if I die. All he wants is my money. My doctor isn't part of my health insurance plan and I had to find someone else. Please if you care about your health and want someone that is going to help you DON'T go to Dr. Fredrickson. Dr. Fredrickson (I use doctor because that is his title not out of respect) gave me the wrong information several times and his information could of been detrimental to my recovery. Please DO NOT use Dr. Fredrickson. He should not be a doctor in my opinion...
Dr Fredrickson services were ok but it’s taken almost 7 months to get me a referral. I call the referral office get voice mail everytime and return voicemails with apologies and that they’re sending the referral. Basic services are a FAIL!
Dr. Fredrickson has been my doctor since 1998 when I had my heart attacks. My previous doctor did not recognize the signs. Fredrickson was the on call doctor in the er. He asked if I wanted him to call my regular doc....hes been my doctor ever since. He has always taken the time to explain and listen. I would recommend him to anyone if they want the truth about their health.
We just moved here from Wichita last year , and had been going back and forth seeing our doctor's, it was a pain. About 6 mths ago I felt like I had a bladder infection and went to Dr. Fredrickson, he also ran blood test I'm a diabetic , so wanted A1C checked. Decided I would try him as my primary care physician and scheduled my yearly physical, which he told me 6 mths later I had high cholesterol ?? Why didn't you discuss with me 6 mths ago. I told him I had been having pains in my sides, and he said he could schedule some testing but that once I got my results back and they said I was fine that I would have to accept that? Hello that would make anyone happy right knowing everything was fine. But that comment really irked me . Who says that? I am not a hypochondriac , I'm not at the doctor every other week with imagined illnesses, he would not prescribe any medication for high cholesterol until my imagined illness was diagnosed as nothing. Call with results yesterday. Gallbladder sludge whatever that is, polyps, and cyst in my kidneys. Really felt like calling him. I will use him until I am done with whatever is wrong with me is figured out, but after plan on finding a physician who is not condescending and who really wants to listen to the patient, also someone who's going to let me know if there's something wrong with me like high cholesterol especially since I'm a diabetic. My blood pressure's been running high and he just waved that off as it runs in my family. Get with the program doctor we go to you for help and advice, and hopefully to find someone who will make our health issues a priority.

His bedside manner is horrible. He treats you like a number.
Absolutely horrible bedside manner. He rushed me in and rushed me out. He didn't even ask why I was there or what was bothering me. He yelled at me and went on and on about how he would not prescribe my medication. Even though one of them was a lithium and there could be a lot of problems if I didn't have it. I highly highly recommend that you do not go to this doctor. One of the worst I've seen in 57 years of living.

Dann has been my primary care provider for years and has done a great job keeping me healthy. He listens thoroughly. He also has a great nurse named Lisa who is sensational!
He is actually the most compassionate kindest Doctor ever. His weekend nurse lacks a human caring component. She is rude, short tempered, uncaring, and has zero compassion. I experienced missing a 6 month refill by several hours and she repeatedly reminded me, "Again", you need to be seen every 3 months for a refill. I was a few hours short of an expired refill that I get every 6 months! Very, very rude and no care or compassion. Hateful, quick and short.
