Was very impressed with my first appointment with Dr. Owens. He is very professional, very attentive, very knowledgeable and took his time and never rushed the appointment. Could not be more pleased having Dr.Owens as my primary physician.

He also clearly explained the plan for follow-up and the next steps, which gave me confidence that my care is being carefully monitored. I recently had a severe health event and needed to have a hospital. Follow up with Dr. Owens. He took his time and he listened to everything that happened to me. He also let me know that he followed my case from the second that I went into the emergency room. We discussed options for medical care and prescriptions. I left feeling cared about and understood. He let me know that he would be with me all the way through this medical healing journey. I am so happy I found Dr. Owens.

Love Dr.Owens!!! It’s so hard to find a Primary care doctor that you trust and like. I don’t feel like I need to hide anything from him and I don’t feel rushed or judged by him. What a relief. The other people working there seem happy and not stressed like at my last doctor’s office.

Very short wait, all staff very helpful. Dr. Owens listens to the patient ‘s concerns, is honest and open, and encouraging. We came to him as new patients after my husband’s long hospitalization and Dr Owens immediately stepped up as a strong advocate for my husband’s rehab care.
I was very impressed with my first visit. I was very comfortable talking with him and listening to his recommendations. He was not rushed and was very thorough. Hopefully he will stay with this practice for a long time. I feel he will be a great partner in my health care journey.

I went for my annual visit with Dr Owens and he was very friendly as we met for the first time. He sat down to discuss my issues which was very nice b/c I felt like he was interested enough to take time discussing my health issues. He had obviously read my chart and knew about my history as I’d been a patient with a Dr who recently retired at this office for several years so he had access to my chart. He took time to talk with me and let me be involved in my POC. He answered my questions and told me his plans to order lab work so he’d have an idea of how my general health is at this time. He wants to see me in 6 months and will let me know if we need to discuss any plans before my 6 month visit. I’m going to refer him to my youngest son and my husband sees him next month. I was very happy with my visit!
He has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. I thought he was very thorough and did not rush thru our visit. I felt he had my best interest at heart. It’s always scary when you get a new doctor ,but I think he is going to be a good fit for me.
The doctor’s bedside manner was noticeably poor. They were condensing , dismissive, and did not to listen to my concerns. I felt bullied and talked over rather than spoken to, and the appointment felt judged from the moment it began. Patients deserve respect and clear communication, and I did not receive that here. I would not return based on this experience. Which is a shame for I have been with this office for over 25 years. I tried to contact the office about this issue and was blown off and asked what I wanted them to do about my complaints. Not the response I was looking for this office has gone down hill from what it use to be.

I was hesitant seeing a male doctor after my previous female doctor left. Dr. Owens was fantastic! Good listener and helped me make medicine adjustments. He took his time with me. He is a keeper!
I would not recommend Dr. Owen’s based on my experience. During my visit, I found his manner to be arrogant and condescending, and I felt dismissed rather than listened to. His tone and attitude made me uncomfortable and I left the appointment feeling disrespected. I hope he takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how he communicates with patients.
Dr Owens is very thorough and takes plenty of time with us. It’s a pleasure to have a doctor who really cares about his patients
