Outside of medicine, Dr. Chilappa enjoys spending time with his family, hiking and taking photos, music, reading poetry and traveling.

Dr. Chilappa strives for honest conversations with his patients and encourages them to participate actively in treatment decisions. He strongly believes that patient participation is essential for achieving positive therapeutic outcomes.
Area of Interest
Areas of interest include the spectrum of autoimmune connective diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, vasculitis, inflammatory myopathies, osteoarthritis, tendonitis and bursitis.
