Dr. Wittek performed my gallbladder surgery. He is down to earth, listens to his patients, makes sure to give you the floor for all the questions you may have and is sure to give you all the information. He did a beautiful job.

I went to the emergency room with extreme stomach pain. I ended up inpatient at the hospital for 17 days. I was very lucky that Dr Wittek was the doctor on call when I was admitted. He did not push for surgery immediately and checked on me every day. We tried to heal the problem with medicine first to avoid surgery if possible. Unfortunately, I did end up having surgery and it went very well. Every nurse I had praised Dr Wittek and told me I was lucky to get him.
Dr. Wittek was very knowledgeable and put me at ease quickly.
Dr. Wittek met with my daughter & I to explain what type of breast cancer I had. He used the paper on the examination table to write and draw everything out so we could easily understand what he was explaining. He gave me plenty of choices of what to do in regard to my breast cancer. After meeting with an oncologist and radiation doctor I chose a double mastectomy. He was kind, courteous and very caring. I would highly recommend Dr. Wittek to anyone considering any kind of surgery. He’s the best and his care after surgery was amazing! Thank you to Dr. Wittek and his staff for the wonderful care I received!!
My daughter and I met with Dr. Wittek in regards to my breast cancer diagnosis and he helped us understand everything in such a simplistic manner we both felt reassured. I know he will be an amazing surgeon. Very kind and informative. His staff was great, also!
He was rude, unprofessional, argumentative and doesn't know how to talk to people. Makes you feel pressured to have surgery. I'll never use him for anything ever again. If I could choose zero stars I would.
I really appreciate Dr. Whittek. He is very honest and direct and straight forward but always with compassion and understanding. He explains things in simple layman’s terms that is easy to understand. He covered all options at my disposal and discussed pros to each options but in all cases empowered me to make the decision that was best for me and allowed that to be the starting place to monitor ongoing improvements and overall wellness.

Dr Wittek is a great doctor. However, his office staff is one of the most unprofessional group of people I’ve ever encountered.
He was patient and explained the possible treatment options. He even drew a diagram. He is very knowledgeable and I am comfortable with him doing the procedure.

Dr. Wittek did not take the time to get to know my illness. I had been using this medical group for 12 years and had two experiences with this doctor dismissing me. I have lymphedema and was just in the hospital for infection and was on IV antibiotics. Even though my incision is red and there is swelling in that breast, he dismissed that and only wanted to concentrate on a mass that was found after my MD had requested I call this group for my infection. I will never use this Dr. for any kind of surgery that I would need. It is too bad. I had been seeing Dr. Failing for 12 years in this group.
Thank you so much for saving my life! When I arrived to N.K.C. hospital you were very thorough with me and my family about what needed done asap. When surgery was over again very thorough with what happened and what to expect. As far as the surgery itself the incision looks great, was off pain meds 2nd day and I'm alive for my family. I can never thank you enough and see you soon.

Dr. Wittek was phenomenal while providing care for my hernia surgery. Dr. Wittek took the time to explain the procedure and listen to my concerns. When complications arose he was there to help me through the difficult time and continues to inquire as to my well being two years post surgery.
