U.S. News & World Report Recognizes NKCH and MH

U.S. News & World Report has rated North Kansas City Hospital and Meritas Health High Performing in seven types of adult procedures and conditions in their Best Hospitals 2024-2025 rankings and ratings.
U.S. News & World Report evaluated each hospital’s performance using a variety of measures, including survival rates, complication rates, patient experience and level of nursing care.

Many NCKH and MH programs and treatments have earned High Performing rankings for several consecutive years.
- Heart failure (eight consecutive years)
- Knee replacement (seven consecutive years)
- Colon cancer surgery (six consecutive years)
- Heart attack (four consecutive years)
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (three consecutive years)
The following procedure and condition have also consistently received High Performing ratings over the years.
- Hip replacement
- Kidney failure
