About this event
Led by experienced RN childbirth educators, this class is designed to help build your confidence in your body’s ability to give birth. It will provide you with a basic overview of labor and birth and information about specific hospital practices. We keep the classes small so that you can ask questions and discuss concerns with an experienced instructor and other families. Your labor partner will learn about how to support you on the big day. Your childbirth educator will discuss pain relief options, including relaxation and breathing techniques and medications. A tour of the OB units will give you the opportunity to see exactly where you will be cared for. Each mother can bring one guest/support person.
