I had a disappointing experience with this office over the course of about 9 months under this provider’s care. During that time, my diabetic symptoms continued to worsen, even after medication changes were made. I also experienced ongoing thyroid-related symptoms that only improved mildly, and that improvement occurred after I independently began taking supplements—something I felt was not fully acknowledged or addressed by the provider or staff. I came in while feeling unwell and was hoping for a higher level of care, attention, and understanding. Instead, I often left feeling unheard, unsupported, and concerned that my symptoms were not being fully taken into account. Communication with staff was consistently challenging. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and there seemed to be a lack of urgency and compassion during times when I was clearly not feeling well. When a patient’s condition is not improving over an extended period, it is critical that concerns are thoroughly evaluated and addressed. That did not reflect my experience here. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in patient communication, attentiveness, and overall quality of care.
Dr. Owen’s was terrific! My first visit with him as my primary physician and was thrilled to meet him and was delighted that he was very personable and knowledgeable and professional! This is my first time meeting Dr. Owens and I couldn’t have been happier. My mother sees him and also my husband. He is kind and very personable. He has a great bedside manner and really takes his time to get to know me. Choosing him as my new doctor was a great decision.
Very short wait, all staff very helpful. Dr. Owens listens to the patient ‘s concerns, is honest and open, and encouraging. We came to him as new patients after my husband’s long hospitalization and Dr Owens immediately stepped up as a strong advocate for my husband’s rehab care.
I was very impressed with my first visit. I was very comfortable talking with him and listening to his recommendations. He was not rushed and was very thorough. Hopefully he will stay with this practice for a long time. I feel he will be a great partner in my health care journey.

I went for my annual visit with Dr Owens and he was very friendly as we met for the first time. He sat down to discuss my issues which was very nice b/c I felt like he was interested enough to take time discussing my health issues. He had obviously read my chart and knew about my history as I’d been a patient with a Dr who recently retired at this office for several years so he had access to my chart. He took time to talk with me and let me be involved in my POC. He answered my questions and told me his plans to order lab work so he’d have an idea of how my general health is at this time. He wants to see me in 6 months and will let me know if we need to discuss any plans before my 6 month visit. I’m going to refer him to my youngest son and my husband sees him next month. I was very happy with my visit!
He has a great bedside manner and made me feel very comfortable. I thought he was very thorough and did not rush thru our visit. I felt he had my best interest at heart. It’s always scary when you get a new doctor ,but I think he is going to be a good fit for me.
The doctor’s bedside manner was noticeably poor. They were condensing , dismissive, and did not to listen to my concerns. I felt bullied and talked over rather than spoken to, and the appointment felt judged from the moment it began. Patients deserve respect and clear communication, and I did not receive that here. I would not return based on this experience. Which is a shame for I have been with this office for over 25 years. I tried to contact the office about this issue and was blown off and asked what I wanted them to do about my complaints. Not the response I was looking for this office has gone down hill from what it use to be.
Dr Owens was thorough and took the time necessary to get to know me. A good experience.

I was hesitant seeing a male doctor after my previous female doctor left. Dr. Owens was fantastic! Good listener and helped me make medicine adjustments. He took his time with me. He is a keeper!
I would not recommend Dr. Owen’s based on my experience. During my visit, I found his manner to be arrogant and condescending, and I felt dismissed rather than listened to. His tone and attitude made me uncomfortable and I left the appointment feeling disrespected. I hope he takes this feedback seriously and works on improving how he communicates with patients.
Dr Owens is very thorough and takes plenty of time with us. It’s a pleasure to have a doctor who really cares about his patients
